My Childhood Town/House

I grew up in Renton, Washington. I lived with my three sisters and my mother. my house wasn't at the fanciest places to live. I lived right next door to my grandfather and cousin. This made it easy to go over to visit anytime I wanted. the path way to my grandfathers house had a thorn bush blocking our way over. I remember me, my sisters, and my cousin hung out all the time when we were young and had trouble getting across the fence to my grandfathers because of that bush, but they later cut it down, thank goodness. My house was blue and fairly small. We had a stairway on the side of our garage that we had to walk up to get to the front of our house. We lived across the street from the water front. our streets were fairly busy with cars passing through.

We lived down the street from the Boeing Airport. I remember having to walk up the hill to my school, which was a pain because that hill just kept on climbing up and up, further and further. by the time i got to school, I was completely exhausted.

  1. I had the same experience walking up the hill when I was in High School. I had to walk to school everyday because my mother was busy and didn't have the time to drop me off at school, and so I had to walk. It was tough. My house is small too, but we are happy to live in it. As ong as I'm happy, I don't care about how small my house is.

  2. Your glad that you have a family member that lives next to you. All of family lives in California or Louisiana. Sometimes I would like someone to move up here to just hang out and catch up with our life.
